Albert P. Mullen
Albert Mullen was born in Ridgefield, New Jersey, in 1921. He graduated from Cooper Union Art School in New York in 1946 after serving in World War II. He went on to pursue advanced study under the G.I. Bill at the Hans Hoffman School of Fine Arts in New York City and with Fernand Leger in Paris.He taught at Columbia University, Goddard College, Brown University, Cooper Union, and Yale. He remained on the faculty at the University of Michigan until 1956.
