Biography:
Educated at the Pratt Institute, Reid created the 1969 poster of the Janis Joplin concert at the University of Michigan Events Building in Ann Arbor, Michigan in March of that year. Remaining an Ann Arbor based artist for the majority of his career, Reid’s works are prized for their playful Surrealism and fine point precision with frequent comparisons to the mathematical renderings of M. C. Escher.
