Roman Maraz
Born in Ukraine , Roman Maraz attended the Ontario Collage of Art in 1929. He went on to receive a fellowship from Cranbrook Academy of Art and studied there under Zoltan Sepeshy from 1939 until 1941. A frequent exhibitor at the Scarab Club, the Detroit Institute of Arts, Cranbrook, and the University of Michigan Museum of Art, Maraz also taught at the Meinzinger Art School from 1945 until 1952. He was also known for designing building for the Ford Foundation in Dearborn, Michigan, and stage sets for the Columbia Pictures Company in Los Angeles, California.
