Stephan Chizmarik

Born in Austria-Hungary in 1898, Chizmarik had exhibited his work in Detroit, Chicago and Grand Rapids from the 1920s until his death in 1962. He was a member of the Michigan Water Color Society, the Art Founders Society and the Scarab Club. He took top honors in the Scarab Club's Gold Medal exhibition in 1958 and had an exhibit in the 1962 annual exhibition.
